Codex Skin stores the email used to sign in, purchase and entitlement records, authorized-device identifiers, theme configuration, and images you explicitly save. Payment card data is handled by Stripe and is not stored by Codex Skin.

Local tool

The macOS CLI connects only to the Codex renderer on 127.0.0.1. It does not read conversations, project files, API keys, or payment information. Local themes and state remain under a user directory.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the service and private theme assets, Neon stores account and entitlement data, Resend sends email verification codes, Stripe processes payments, and GA4 and Microsoft Clarity provide product analytics.

You can restore or uninstall the local tool at any time. Contact hello@getcodexskin.com to request account or uploaded-theme deletion.
